Kaikoura - Accessible/Easy Access Accommodation & Activities

Kaikoura is one of those destinations where the trip there around the coast is an activity in itself. And when you get there find a good vantage point and relax and take in the view. BUT more active options are also possible - the seals at Ohau Point have been described as the most accessible anywhere - probably true - for more, see the seal colony activity description. But some of you can get a little more adventurous and try dolphin and whale watching - just contact the operators to see how accessible the trips are. Getting around Kaikoura centre is easy and you can carry on along the shoreline towards Ohau Point for as long as you like with much to see along the way.
